We are pleased to announce that the Trust Deed of Meezan Asset Allocation Fund (“MAAF/the Fund”) is being amended and the Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan (“SECP”) vide its letter dated March 08, 2022 has already approved the amendments, subject to the condition that Al Meezan Investment Management Limited shall give at least thirty days prior notice about the proposed change.
According to the new structure of MAAF being introduced through the First Supplemental Trust Deed (as approved by the SECP) which is subject to the registration of the First Supplemental Trust Deed, the Fund shall offer various Allocation Plans to prospective investors for investment in Shariah Compliant avenues. Investors of the Fund may hold different types of Units of Allocation Plans and may invest in any one or more of the available Plans.
These changes shall be effective after 30 days from the issuance of this Notice, subject to the registration of First Supplemental Trust Deed.
