Meezan Islamic Funds objective is to maximize total investor returns by investing in Shariah Compliant equities focusing on both capital gains and dividend income.
MIF shall invest at least seventy percent (70%) of its Net Assets during the year (based on quarterly average investment calculated on daily basis) in listed equity securities. The remaining Net Assets of the Fund shall be invested in cash and/or near cash instruments which include cash in bank accounts (excluding TDRs), and Shariah Compliant government securities not exceeding 90% days maturity.
